The challenge

Before using hackajob, the team at Elsevier were sourcing candidates themselves, which wasn’t beneficial from a time perspective. They tried to use other technical recruitment platforms, but to use them effectively, it would be a manual process that ended up being time-consuming.
The other issue was the cost. By using lots of different channels to directly source candidates, including job boards, other technical recruitment platforms and agencies, it all began to add up. Elsevier needed an all-in-one, cost-efficient solution.
